Battlefield includes two gameplay modes, Conquest and Titan, the latter of which can only be played online in multiplayer maps (without using modifications ('mods')).Both modes support varying numbers of players, up to 64, depending upon the server a player chooses to join online. The single player mode consists of a maximum of 16 players, which includes 15 AI bots. One of the best FPS (First Person Shooter) games acknowledged worldwide is Battlefield 3 by Electronic Arts Inc. Since at this time there isn't a version of Battlefield 3 for Mac OS X, you can pick a replacement from this list of alternatives. GameStop PC Downloads Play More Than 1,500 of Your Favorite Games! I don't know why you thought you'd get help from these people lmao.
haha, this.
yes, you can play on a mac without installing windows. games such as Black Ops (1), MW (1), CoD1 + 2, Borderlands, Rage, Quake 4, Doom 3, Prey, CS:S, and many others are available on mac. the multiplayer is cross platform, means you can play against pc players.
but to answer the rest of your question, you can't play BF3 on a mac without installing windows, bc there is no mac version. it's very simple, install win 7 through bootcamp and play it.
i'm playing on a mac btw. and even though the GPU is shitty, the rest of the hardware is decent. but if you play only multiplayer FPS it won't matter anyway, since you'll play it on low, and for that a current mac(book pro) will do it. you could technicly play the BF3 SP campaign on high res.
if you plan on buying AAA games such as FC3 and Crysis 3, i'd recommend you buying a gaming pc, since their system requirements will rape your mac specs.
